Join us for a day of action and make a difference in your community at our upcoming Clean Up event! Together, we can roll up our sleeves, work towards a cleaner, healthier environment and contribute to the Great American Clean-Up. The clean-up will take place at Ashley's Creek just north of NW 19th Place. Please RSVP for additional details. This event is FREE to attend! All the necessary supplies, including gloves, bags, and tools to help you safely pick up litter and other debris in the designated areas, have been generously provided by Keep Alachua County Beautiful. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the impact of waste on our environment and the ways we can all make a difference.

This event is FREE to attend! We are proud to announce that we have partnered with #UNLITTER UF to bring you a Sustainable Showcase and our 2023 Cinema Verde festival films at Cypress & Grove. From 4 PM to 7 PM, we will showcase a wide range of organizations and vendors, all with a shared commitment to protecting the environment and promoting social responsibility. Afterward, you can wind down at Cypress & Grove for a screening of our 2023 Cinema Verde festival films which will run until 10 pm. Bring your friends and family for a great night of fun! You won't want to miss this exciting presentation from our award-winning Director Keil Orion Troisi of Total Disaster: Eco-tricksterism: Doing good by being bad. Keil Orion Troisi, of notorious culture-jamming collective The Yes Men, presents documentary shorts that mix comedy and surprise to plague evildoers and amplify environmental justice campaigns. Along the way, he discusses mischief-activism techniques, hacking media attention, and how to undermine oppressive systems with humor, surprise, and play.‍

Come join us for an unforgettable evening at the Cinema Verde Awards Dinner, where we celebrate the talented filmmakers who showcased their inspiring work during our February Cinema Verde festival. This year's dinner will take place at a beautiful flower farm, providing the perfect setting for an elegant and sustainable dining experience. Guests will have the chance to talk with a carnivorous native plant specialist and learn about regenerative farming techniques used at Passions field, where the flowers are beginning to bloom. We are very lucky to be joined by retired chef of Leonardo’s 706, Mark Newman, who will bring back some of the delicious dishes from his iconic international buffet.
