4, 6, 8 pm – Environmental films on Food - Special Guests: Christine Heinrichs, featured in Mad City Chickens and Shelly Rogers, Director of a film about our local farmer’s markets. Evening co-hosted by Alachua County Sustainability Department.
4-8 pm – Pitch-in Dinner for Local Farmers - Help us Honor Our Local Farmers with a Community Potluck on our Food Film Night, Tuesday. Bring a dish created from local foods to show our farmer’s the creative ways we use the bounty they provide! We’ll share our dishes and together let’s Thank our farmers for helping to create a sustainable community. Free film admission for farmer’s all night! (RSVPs appreciated).
Wednesday, Feb 29
4, 6 pm – Environmental films on Sustaining our Land and Sea - Special Guest: Maryam Henein, Director of Vanishing of the Bees at Florida Museum of Natural History, co-hosted by UF Office of Sustainability.
8 pm Vintage Verde Fashion Show - Enjoy an array of recycled fashions from area thrift stores followed by a trunk show of treasures!

9 pm – Awards Night and Wrap Party - Join Us to Celebrate Cinema Verde and THANK our Volunteers and Sponsors! Music by Hired Hand from Hollywood, FL.
